These terms apply when you use salononline.com.au or place an order with Salon Online ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please also read our Shipping page, our Returns and refunds page and our Privacy policy.

2. Your account
Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your login details private. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used to misuse the site.
3. SalonOnline PRO and trade-only products
SalonOnline PRO accounts are for hair and beauty businesses. We may ask for an ABN or other proof that you work in the industry, and approval is at our discretion. Trade pricing is available only to approved PRO accounts.
Some products are sold to the trade only. We sell them only to approved PRO accounts. If an order for a trade-only product is placed without one, we may cancel that order and refund it in full.
4. Products
We do our best to describe and show products accurately. Colours can look different on different screens, and manufacturers sometimes change packaging or formulas. Professional products must be used as the manufacturer directs. Always do a skin allergy test before using hair colour. Stock shown on the site is not guaranteed until we confirm your order.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless we say otherwise. Trade prices shown to PRO accounts are marked ex GST where that applies. Prices can change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. You pay at checkout using one of the payment methods shown there.
If a product is listed at the wrong price by mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
6. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email tells you we have received it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there was a mistake in the price or description, if we suspect fraud, or if a trade-only product was ordered without a PRO account. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
7. Shipping and delivery
Our Shipping page sets out dispatch times, costs and delivery. Delivery estimates are a guide only. Responsibility for the products passes to you when they are delivered to your address or collected.
8. Returns and refunds
Our Returns and refunds page sets out what happens if there is a problem with your order. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Discount codes and promotions
One discount code can be used per order unless we say otherwise. A code cannot be applied after an order has been placed and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may change or end a promotion at any time.
10. Using this site
Do not misuse the site. That includes trying to interfere with how it works, copying content in bulk, placing false orders or using the site for anything unlawful.
11. Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or to the brands we stock. Please do not reuse it without permission.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a product being used against the manufacturer's directions. Where the law lets us limit our liability, it is limited to replacing the product or refunding what you paid for it.

We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
